Prevention/General bug protection
Protect yourself and your family from both the annoyance and the health risks associated with mosquitoes. Here are a few things you can do to reduce the risk of getting bitten.
- Stay indoors at dusk, dawn and early evening.
- Wear light-coloured clothing.
- Don't wear scented deodorant, soaps or perfumes if you are in an area with a high bug population.
- Wear long-sleeved shirts and pants when outdoors.
- Spray clothing with Muskol® Insect Repellent for protection against mosquitoes for up to 8 hours. Avoid contact with synthetic fabrics. May damage furniture finishes, plastics and painted surfaces.
- Apply repellent (Muskol® 8-hour Pump, 8-hour Liquid, or 8-hour Aerosol) to exposed skin such as the back of the neck, ankles, etc., but be careful to avoid the eyes and mouth.
